Emmanuel Schatz started his career at the Industrial Bank of Japan in Paris in 1989, trading cash and derivative instruments on the money and forex markets. In 1995, he joined Crédit National as Head of International Treasury and Foreign Exchange, where he spent two years, after which he became an interest-rate options trader at Natexis Banque.
In 1999, Emmanuel became a fixed-income portfolio manager at Natexis AM, before being appointed Head of Indexed Money Market Funds in 2002, where he also covered ABS portfolios. He became Head of Corporate Credit team at Ostrum AM (formerly Natixis AM) in 2012, the scope of which was extended in 2015 to include ABS portfolios. In 2020, he became Senior Portfolio Manager, Expert Leader, Credit & ABS.
