Five Natixis IM Affiliates Win Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards

December 14, 2023

London, 16th May 2023 – Five Natixis Investment Managers affiliates, DNCA, Harris Associates, Loomis Sayles, Ostrum Asset Management and WCM Investment Management, have been awarded Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards in recognition for the performance of their funds.

The Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards are awarded annually to funds and management companies for their performance over three, five and ten years. They reward a fund’s ability to generate high risk-adjusted returns, which is a notable accomplishment following the challenges faced by fund managers globally over the last five years. Only those managers who were able to adapt their portfolios permanently to new market environments will receive a Refinitiv Lipper Fund Award* in 2023.

The Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards are not based on return numbers alone and the winners are not determined by looking at the funds with the highest returns over the respective awards periods. In actuality, the Awards are based on the Lipper Leader rating for Consistent Return. These ratings are calculated using a utility function based on the effective return over multiple non-overlapping periods—within the respective three-, five-, and 10-year horizons.

These awards recognize the exceptional performance of their respective funds in Europe and the United States, as well as their very strong risk profile.
Award-winning funds:

In France:

  • Ostrum Euro Inflation R/A over 5 years in the Bond European Inflation Linked category.
  • Natixis Horizon 20-30-2034 R/A over 5 years in the Target Maturity MA Euro 2030 category.
  • DNCA Invest Venasquo B over 3 years in the Absolute Return Euro High category.

In Germany:

  • DNCA Invest Venasquo B over 3 years in the Absolute Return Euro High category.
  • Loomis Sayles Global Emerging Markets EQ FD R/A over 3 years in the Equity Emerging Global Markets category.

In Austria:

  • Loomis Sayles Global Emerging Markets EQ FD R/A over 3 years in the Equity Emerging Global Markets category.

In Switzerland:

  • Loomis Sayles Global Emerging Markets EQ FD R/A over 3 years in the Equity Emerging Global Markets category.
  • Ostrum Euro Inflation R/A (Euro) over 5 years in the Bond European inflation Linked category
  • DNCA also won first prize in the category of large companies (large firm division).

In the United States:

  • The funds managed by WCM won the 2023 Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards for the United States.
  • WCM Focused International Growth Fund, Institutional Class, best 5-year large cap international growth fund.

* The essence of the Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards is to reward consistent out-performance of individual funds and of fund companies. Winning funds have demonstrated consistently strong risk-adjusted returns compared with peers.

References to an award do not anticipate the future performance of the fund or manager. Fund investments are subject risks, including risk of capital loss.
